The Fresh Start Finance Program is Bud Clary Auto Group’s name for how the finance teams at our 14 dealerships handle applications from people whose credit has taken a hit or is just getting started. It isn’t a lender, a special loan or a government program. No one can promise you a loan before a lender has looked at your application. A negotiable documentary service fee in an amount up to $200 may be added to the sale price or the capitalized cost.

Bud Clary Auto Group is a family-owned group of 14 new-car dealerships in Washington, in business since 1959.

Most dealerships sell cars. We sell what cars are for.

What a car is for depends on where you live. In Longview, it’s the truck that makes the early shift at the mill. In the Columbia Basin, it’s the one that runs gravel roads through harvest. Around Yakima, it’s a work truck with a ladder rack and a long list of orchard stops. In Auburn, it’s the car that survives five days of I-5 and still makes the Friday run to the cabin.

We would rather be known for the second visit than the first sale.

    Each used vehicle is inspected on 137 points and comes with a free CARFAX report, a 3-day / 300-mile exchange, a 3-month / 3,000-mile limited warranty, and two oil changes and two tire rotations.
  • Can I finance with bad credit or an ITIN?
    All credit types are welcome to apply through our Fresh Start Finance Program. ITIN financing is available for customers without a Social Security Number, and credit union financing is available alongside traditional lenders. Lenders decide, and no one can promise you a loan before a lender has looked at your application.
  • Where should I take my car for service?
    To the store that sells your brand, for factory-trained technicians and genuine OEM parts. Every store has a courtesy shuttle and service financing, and qualifying repairs carry Clary Repair Protection, a 2-year / unlimited-mile warranty that excludes regular maintenance and warranty work.
